The fans, who had come to the Philips Stadium in large numbers, were treated to an entertaining programme and the lovely summer weather contributed to the great atmosphere. The absolute highlight of the Fan Day was as usual the presentation of the players and staff, after which the fans were invited to watch Huub Stevens' new-look squad train on the Philips Stadium pitch.
Co-operation with the Land Force
The new signings were presented to the crowd with the co-operation of the Land Force of the Dutch Armed Forces. Footballs were thrown unto the pitch by parachutists. Yelmer Buurman, who has been selected to drive the PSV car in the inaugural Superleague Formula championship, was also presented to the football and motoring fans.
