Guus Hiddink explained at the press-briefing, ahead of the NAC Breda encounter, at the training ground De Herdgang that André Ooijer is the most likely candidate to replace Alex in the heart of defence. The Brazilian defender is not available, as he serves a one-match ban. Hiddink has called up a nineteen-man squad for the league encounter against NAC Breda on Saturday night. Jefferson Farfán has not been included in the squad. As he has been suffering from chicken pox, the Peruvian forward has missed too many training sessions and is not match fit yet. Phillip Cocu has received a call-up, but Hiddink feels the experienced midfielder is not fit enough to play a full game. Cocu will face late fitness test on Saturday to find out if he can make an appearance after all.John de Jong has been having some tailor-made training sessions and Hiddink has announced he is close to starting. Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink has also been called up and the tall striker can hardly wait to start a league game once again. Some other topics that were raised at the press briefing: the alternative options Beasley and Park as wingers and the first six months of striker Gerald Sibon in the service of PSV. "He has proved his value to the squad, both on and off the pitch. But he is eager to show more and I fully support him in that. He has the capacity to turn a game upside down by one flash of genius, but if he fails in doing so, it may look clumsy. There is a thin borderline between success and failure, as far as he is concerned."Hiddink was not very anxious to comment on the interest that the Spanish club Levante is alleged to have shown in Sibon. The 'Leandro affair' was also discussed. It has developed into a case for lawyers and football agents, explained Hiddink. "It is an unpleasant for all parties involved that the talented Brazilian has not been able to develop according to expectations", concluded Hiddink. The squad for the NAC Breda encounter:Goalkeepers: Gomes, ZoetebierDefenders: Addo, Bøgelund, Bouma, Lamey, Lee, Ooijer.Midfielders: Van Bommel, Cocu, Fehér, De Jong, Lucius, Vogel.Forwards: Beasley, Park, Sibon, Vennegoor of Hesselink, Vonlanthen.
