Bas Roorda made his comeback for PSV on Monday night, after having been sidelined for many months. The 35-year-old goalkeeper played 55 minutes in Young PSV's 3-1 defeat against Young FC Twente. Roorda, who underwent surgery in July, has fully recovered from a back injury. He was replaced by Stefan Toonen ten minutes into the second half.
Romario Sabajo goal
Young PSV started the game brightly and Otman Bakkal set up Romario Sabajo to score the opening goal on the half-hour mark. It turned out to be a short-lived lead for barely two minutes later the visitors drew level through Jules Reimerink. They even took the lead on the stroke of half time and again striker Reimerink was on target for FC Twente. Ten minutes into the second half, Erwin Nieuwboer put the result beyond doubt. PSV had some chances to reduce the deficit but failed to score a goal and Arne Nilis had a penalty saved by FC Twente keeper Melvin Koetsier.
