PSV player Arvid Smit has joined Willem II on loan straight away. The midfielder will train with his new team mates in Tilburg for the first time today.Smit will be in the service of Willem II, the current number twelve in the Holland Casino Eredivisie, until the end of the season. He did not make an appearance in the PSV first team this season. "He did not get much playing time with us. I think it is a good decision for him to link up with Willem II, as the level of playing in the Dutch top flight is obviously higher than in Young PSV. He now has a good opportunity to develop himself”, felt Stan Valckx, PSV Manager Football Affairs.Before he made a move to PSV, Smit had spells with Stormvogels Telstar, De Graafschap and FC Groningen.
