Young PSV took a point in a 1-1 draw against Willem II at De Herdgang facilities on Monday night. The hosts were one goal down after the Swede George Mourad had given the visitors an early lead, but Romario Sabajo scored a late goal to salvage a 1-1 draw for Anton Janssen's team.

Young Willem II provided tough opposition for PSV and Bas Roorda, the only first-team regular to be included in Young PSV's starting line-up, kept his team in the game with a number of fine saves. Young PSV coach Anton Janssen had only three substitutes at his disposal, among whom 17-year-old junior player Stefano Marzo and substitute keeper Stefan Toonen. As PSV dropped two points, they could not benefit from the 2-2 draw that Feyenoord recorded at De Graafschap. Young PSV are currently lying third, while N.E.C., who claimed a 2-1 victory against Sparta, have moved to the top of the table.
Young PSV line-up:
Roorda, Horsten, Heerkens, Ter Horst, Thomassen, Velda, Romario, Ojo, Hutten, Nilis and Rymenants.
Substitutions: Toonen, Hasselbaink and Marzo.
