New signing Ola Toivonen has spoken of his delight in signing for PSV. The Swedish international signed a three-and-a-half-year deal this morning and can't wait to meet his new team mates. 'I'm very happy to be here and I think the Dutch league will suit my style', said Toivonen exclusively to PSV TV on Thursday morning.
"Fans want us to get silverware'
'PSV are a great club. The fans want us to get silverware and I feel the same as the fans', said Toivonen, who has established a reputation as a fine forward. 'I am a genuine team player and like to be involved in the passing game.' The 22-year-old forward revealed that he had spoken to various Swedish players, who play with FC Groningen in the Eredivisie.' They spoke highly of PSV and the Eredivisie. I haven't spoken with Andreas Isaksson yet, but and I will do so this afternoon when I get started at my new club', said Toivonen, who arrived in the Netherlands on Wednesday evening. He promised PSV TV that he intends to learn Dutch. PSV have called a press conference this afternoon when Toivonen will be unveiled as the club's latest signing. The Swede will train with Huub Stevens' squad at 2.30pm.
