PSV confirm that Jonathan Reis will be loaned out to Brazilian club Tupi FC for the remainder of the season. The 19-year-old forward is keen to succeed in Eindhoven, but told the club he wants 'to clear his head' before he comes back next season, as a more experienced and mentally stronger player.
'PSV have invested in me'
Jonathan, who joined PSV in the summer of 2007, has made five first team starts, including one Champions League appearance. He will spend the remainder of the season with the Brazilian club Tupi FC in Brazil. He wants to become a more experienced and mentally stronger player before he returns to Holland ahead of the start of the new season. He was also linked with a loan move to a Dutch club, but has now decided to return to his native country. 'I want to succeed here in Eindhoven. PSV are a great club. They have invested in me and I want to repay the faith they've shown in me. I have taken this decision in a bid to return as a better and stronger player. I want to clear my head and then I will prove I add value to PSV', said Jonathan at De Herdgang on Friday afternoon. The 19-year old forward's contract with PSV is due to run until 2012.
