De Graafschap have signed Stijn Wuytens on loan. The young Belgian joins the Eredivisie club for the remainder of the season. He is the fifth PSV player to be farmed out on loan during the January transfer window. 19-year-old Wuytens came through the ranks at PSV and was promoted to the first-team squad by then head coach Stevens at the start of the season.
Ten league games
Stijn Wuytens made his first start in PSV colours on 23 August 2008, when PSV won the Johan Cruijff Shield with a 2-0 victory over Feyenoord in the 2008/09 season's curtain raiser. The 19-year-old started ten league games for PSV and was brought on as a substitute once. He got his name on the score sheet with the winning goal at home against FC Volendam (1-0). Wuytens also made three UEFA Champions League appearances for PSV. Born in Eksel in Belgium on 8 October 1989, he joined PSV in 2001, along with his younger brother Dries, who plays for the PSV's highest junior team. PSV and De Graafschap met only last Sunday. PSV recorded a 3-0 victory, but Stijn Wuytens was not called up to the squad. He is the fifth PSV player to be farmed out on loan, following the departures of Eric Addo (Roda JC), Jonathan (Tupi FC), Cássio Ramos (Sparta Rotterdam) and Reimond Manco (Willem II).
