PSV MEDIA - PSV head coach Fred Rutten told PSV.TV in the Philips Stadium on Tuesday afternoon that PSV has reached agreement with FC Twente on the transfer of assistant coach Erik ten Hag. FC Twente have given him permission to take charge of the PSV training sessions.
Reunited with Rutten
Ten Hag (2 Februari 1970) will be reunited in Eindhoven with Rutten, whom he asissted at FC Twente in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons. Ten Hag played for FC Twente, De Graafschap, RKC Waalwijk and FC Utrecht. He quit the game as a professional football player in 2002 and was appointed FC Twente's Head of the Academy. Ten Hag, who has got a UEFA Pro-licence, will link in Eindhoven with René Eijkelkamp, who was recently added to Fred Rutten's backroom staff on a part time basis.
