PSV and Guus Hiddink came to an agreement considering the function of head-coach for PSV for the next two seasons. Guus Hiddink was already assistant-coach and head-coach in Eindhoven from 1983 until 1990.
Guus Hiddink, born on November 8th 1946 in Varsseveld, achieved great successes in Eindhoven. As head-coach he won the Championship as well as the Dutch Cup both three times. His greatest success was bringing the European Champions Cup to Eindhoven in 1988.
