The Americans claimed a 3-0 win over Costa Rica. South Korea managed to salvage one point in the nick of time by drawing 1-1 against Uzbekistan. Park Chu-young scored the equalizer in the dying seconds of the World Cup 2006 qualifying game. South Korea are still on top of their group, having collected seven points from their four games so far. Ji-Sung Park and Young-Pyo Lee played the full 90 minutes.
