The players of the national football team of South Korea will be able to show their skills at the World Cup 2006 in Germany. By beating Kuwait 0-4, the South Koreans ensured qualification to the most prestigious football tournament of the world. PSV player Ji-Sung Park scored the fourth goal half an hour from final time. South Korea were fourth in at the 2002 World Cup, when Guus Hiddink took charge.Ten pointsSouth Korea had a bright start against Kuwait and they had virtually killed off the game within the first thirty minutes by netting two goals. The team of, among other players, Park and Young-Pyo Lee have now earned ten points from their five qualifying games in the Asiatic group A. Saudi Arabia remain top of the group, having collected eleven points. Japan and Iran, the numbers one and two in the other Asian group, have also made sure qualification.
