PSV squad leave for South Korea (PSV.nl)

A 24-man squad will leave for South Korea on Monday night for a trip that will hopefully last two weeks. If PSV fail to reach the Peace Cup tournament final, the squad will return home earlier than planned. PSV won the final of the first version of the prestigious tournament two years ago, following a 1-0 win over Olympique Lyon. The French champions will compete this year again.From Paris to SeoulThe plane will make an intermediate landing in Paris. Passengers for Seoul will have to change in the French capital, after which a straight flight will take them to Asia. Theo Lucius and DaMarcus Beasley will not join their team mates for the trip to South Korea. Lucius is recovering from a calf injury and Beasley is on international duty with the national team of the United States of America. Young-Pyo Lee is already in Korea and he will attend a press conference that is held at the Incheon Airport on arrival.Youth players and player on trialApart from the regular first team players, three youth players will make the trip as well: Roy Beerens, Guy Dufour and Ismaïl Aisatti. Moreover, Roy Alexander Myrie Medrano, a player of Costa Rica, who is on trial with PSV, will be given an opportunity to convince the technical staff he is of added value to the squad.
