PSV have loaned out Johan Vonlanthen to NAC Breda for the 2005-2006 season. The 19-year-old forward was already sent out on loan by PSV to the Italian Serie A club Brescia part of last season. CareerVonlanthen started his career in Switzerland with BSC Young Boys. The forward, who was born in the Colombian town Santa Marta, moved to PSV in 2004. He made as many as 19 appearances in the domestic league in his first season with the Eindhoven side, in which he scored three goals. As Guus Hiddink, PSV head coach, thought Vonlanthen should be granted more playing time, the young striker was sent out on loan to Brescia midway the 2004-2005 campaign. Vonlanthen was included in the starting line up of the Italian side nine times, in which he did not find the net. Vonlanthen announced on the NAC official website that he was delighted to have joined NAC. "PSV fortunately realize that, in view of my age, I need to play games in order to develop myself as a player. And preferably games at a high level. I am delighted I can ply my trade at NAC for one season and I certainly intend to show my skills on the pitch."Swiss internationalJohan Vonlanthen, born in Colombia, but in the possession of a Swiss passport, has decided to play games for the Swiss national team. He was the youngest player ever at a European Championship: he netted a goal for Switzerland at the 2004 Euro in Portugal, when he was eighteen years and four months. He made an appearance with the Swiss team U20 during the World Cup in Holland last June.
