PSV drew 0-0 with Once Caldas. PSV head coach Guus Hiddink explained at the post-match press conference that the result was not of over overriding importance as he was anxious to fit in a few new players. He also paid tribute to goalkeeper Edwin Zoetebier. Make progress"Actually it was a good game, bearing in mind that we started the preparations for the new campaign only recently. Once Caldas are champions of South America and still play domestic league games. They are a good side to compete with. Edwin Zoetebier was in great shape today. He has seen to it that we did not concede a goal. However, the result was not of over overriding importance as we have to fit in a few new players. And you shouldn’t forget that we fielded two youngsters, sixteen and seventeen years of age, respectively. It’s an asset to see them make progress."Young-Pyo LeeThe Korean press wondered if the position of regular left back defender Young-Pyo Lee was in jeopardy, now that Osmar Ferreyra was included in the starting line-up for the second time in a row. Hiddink replied that Lee was absolutely his number one. "Ferreyra is a newcomer; he is not familiar with the way we play. Lee, obviously, is and he is a tower of strength in the team. But I must fit in new lads in order to find out how they are doing."
