Guus Hiddink is afraid that the knee injury Alex sustained on Saturday night is a serious one. "It would be a great blow. He will be examined on Sunday and then we will be able to reveal the exact nature of his injury" , he explained at the customary post-match press conference.Knee injury"I am obviously delighted with the win", said Hiddink. " We fielded three new players and we had a bright start. Actually we could have opened the scoring in the first period already. After the break we sometimes made some defensive slips, but all in all I am quite content." As put above, Hiddink was pessimistic as to the injury Alex has picked up. “I am afraid it is a serious injury. We will get an update tomorrow." Arouna KonéArouna Koné did well in his first game for his new club, was the verdict of Hiddink. "He had a tentative start, but he is a physically strong lad. You could see he is used to starting a lot of solo runs, but I think he did a good job. If he involves his fellow strikers more, we will become more dangerous in our attacks. But I appreciated the way he threatened.""Reality is bitter"Foeke Booy referred to the reality of FC Utrecht as 'bitter'. "We came here to collect one point and we deserved to grab more points in our previous league games. We didn’t want to lean back and just defend, but we also tried to attack. We realized PSV are not yet the team they were last season; therefore we thought we could get something out of this game. We were well organized in the first period, although we did not threaten enough when we had possession of the ball. One moment of neglect proved to be fatal after the break. It’s too bad our goalkeeper made a mistake. It’s so sad to lose and lavish praise on our players at the same time. We’ll have to be sharp and keep believing in our mission. We are going to earn points shortly. But tonight reality is bitter for us."
