Dick Advocaat has earned his first victory as coach of South Korea. His team beat Iran 2-0 in a friendly in the Seoul World Cup Stadium. PSVDick Advocaat became head coach of PSV in the1994-1995 season. During his spell in Eindhoven he won the Dutch title in the 1996-1997 campaign, won the Dutch Cup one time and the Super Cup even twice. In 1988 he moved to Scotland, where he was appointed head Manager at Glasgow Rangers. He was coach of the Dutch national team in the 2001-2002 season and he reached the semi finals of EURO 2004 in Portugal. Advocaat recently made a move to South Korea and now he earned his first victory as coach.Dream startSouth Korea had a dream start in Seoul, for the opening goal was scored in the very first minute. A Won-Hee Cho effort deviated off an Iranian defender into the goal. The second goal was another lucky one, for Jin-Kyu Kim’s shot took a deflection and beautifully sailed into the top corner at the death. "It’s an important result", announced Advocaat after the win over Iran, who, just like South Korea, have already ensured World Cup 2006qualification. "But it’s even more important for us to become better side and that we are going to make it. I have taken some positives from this game, but there is certainly room for improvement.”
