As part of the cooperation between PSV and the Dutch Fight against Cancer Organization the players contributed disinterestedly to the realization of a special calendar, of which all proceeds will benefit the good cause. Today the final photo shoot took place. Research into children’s cancerDutch Fight against Cancer Organization will be donated five euros for each calendar, so a minimum revenue of 20, 000 euros is guaranteed. To realize this project PSV cooperate with the Belgian company Winwave, which has already produced calendars for, among other clubs, Anderlecht en Club Brugge. All the money that is earned by the sales of this calendar will be allocated to research into children’s cancer, at the request of the PSV squad. The third and final photo shoot took place today at De Herdgang, where DaMarcus Beasley, Ibrahim Afellay, Edwin Zoetebier, Gomes and Timmy Simons had their pictures taken. Pictures of captain Phillip Cocu, Alex, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, André Ooijer, Jefferson Farfán and John de Jong had already been taken at previous sessions. Several places in and around De Herdgang were visited to find a nice setting for the pictures. In mid-NovemberA number of PSV business relations sponsor this special project. The calendar will be for sale as from mid-November. PSV.nl will announce its official launch.
