It is a well-respected tradition that the visiting club are offered lunch or dinner by their hosts, ahead or after a Champions league tie. A PSV delegation was offered a hearty welcome in the Gelsenkirchen Arena AufSchalke this afternoon. Rudy AssenauerPSV were cordially welcomed by Schalke officials, among whom obviously manager Rudi Assenauer, in one of the hospitality boxes in the impressive stadium. PSV was represented by Chairman Rob Westerhof and a number of officials. UEFA officials also sat down at the table, with a lovely view of the pitch and a host of blue seats.While assistants of the UEFA and the Swiss marketing bureau TEAM completed decorating the stadium in UEFA Champions League fashion, a toast to a fine Champions League evening was proposed inside. Some club presents were traditionally exchanged during lunch.
