Guus Hiddink felt he could not possibly blame his team for the defeat they suffered in Rotterdam. His Feyenoord colleague Erwin Koeman announced at the post-match press conference he had seen an 'entertaining game of football with many challenges'.Crucial issue"I think I have seen a good game", started Guus Hiddink his analysis at the post-match press conference in the Rotterdam Kuip. I can’t blame the team, as I realize it is hard to play this kind of game, following last Tuesday night’s Champions League clash. We slipped to our second domestic league defeat this season. We failed to score the equalizer and I think the home crowd will have gone home satisfied, after having seen a good game of football." CocuHiddink was asked why Gomes twice joined the attack at corner kicks. "Gomes is a very good header. He jumps so high that he sometimes touches the ceiling. He can time very well and so I think it’s obvious to ask him to move forward when there is an emergency." Captain Phillip Cocu is feeling fine, according to Hiddink "Cocu will always battle and never gives up. We felt he could start today and he does not have physical problems right now.”Erwin Koeman"We started brightly and immediately took the initiative. We were in luck when we scored the opening goal, but then PSV controlled the game and they might very well have leveled the tie. We put on a good second half performance. It was an entertaining game of football with many challenges. We could have doubled the advantage, but omitted to do so.
