The singer Guus Meeuwis is one of the most popular artists in the Netherlands. He is also a loyal PSV fan. Over 65, 000 tickets for two concerts he is going to perform in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium on 9 and 10 June 2006 were sold out within a few days. That’s why it has been decided to add a third gig.This concert is scheduled for Sunday 11 June 2006, which is also the day on which the Dutch national team meet Serbia & Montenegro. Guus Meeuwis, who is anxious to see the game himself, has promised that his concert will start after the game, as a kind of 'third period'. The gates of the stadium will be opened at 13:30, so that both the crowd and Guus Meeuwis have a wonderful opportunity to first see the Holland – Serbia & Montenegro World Cup clash on large screens (kick off at 15:00), before Guus Meeuwis starts his show at 17:30.
