José Plá Moya, or rather Pepe Plá, is in Eindhoven for some days to get accustomed to his new club PSV. The18-year-old defender, who made a move from Valencia to Eindhoven, announced that is very much impressed by the way things are organized at PSV. Plá came through all the ranks of the Valencia CF Youth Academy, but in spite of his talents, he could not establish himself as a regular starter in the first team. The player of the Spanish side U18 decided to move to PSV, as he has maintained a good relationship with PSV head coach Guus Hiddink, who used to be coach at the Spanish Primera Division club, and as he is impressed by the great performances of PSV in the Champions League. "Just like Valencia, PSV are a big club. I can hardly wait to start here and I consider this move a huge step forward", felt Plá. Pepe Plá will stay in Eindhoven until the end of this year, after which he will return to his native country. He will report for duty on 9 January 2006 and join the squad for training. "I am very much impressed by the professional way things are organized at PSV and I feel grateful for the warm welcome they have given me. I am here with my father and we have meanwhile found an apartment in the centre of Eindhoven. We have been invited to spend our first evening at El Patio Andaluz, a Spanish restaurant in Eindhoven. We had dinner in the company of Jefferson Farfán, Osmar Ferreyra, Gomes and Robert. It was a wonderful welcome and I get on fine with my new South American colleagues."
