It was cold this morning in Eindhoven, but the sun made up for that and a stay at De Herdgang training ground, where PSV trained to prepare the first league clash in the new year, away against Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday afternoon, was quite pleasant after all. The squad trained for some 90 minutes and fought out a game of football with a host of fierce, but fair challenges all over the place. Ibrahim Afellay, Roy Beerens and Ismail Aissati were the last to leave the training pitch. Only yesterday the latter two youngsters signed contract extensions that tie them to PSV until 2008 and 2009, respectively. Captain Phillip Cocu made time after training to take penalties with a few very young fans and he also was played as man between the posts!On Saturday morning, at 10:00, one more training session is scheduled, before PSV make the trip to Rotterdam.Below you will find some pictures taken during the Friday morning training session.
