PSV have completed deals with Archie Thompson and Lee Nguyen today. The Australian, who arrived in Holland yesterday, and the American put pen to paper on their contracts. Both deals were all but completed, but after some small details had been sorted out, the deals could be finalized. Nguyen, nineteen year old, a citizen of the United States of American, born in Vietnam, will be in the service of PSV for three-and-a-half-years.The midfielder has impressed the PSV technical staff during two trials and he will strengthen the first team squad in future. PSV will pay his salary, and not third parties, as some newspaper reports suggested. It is not known yet what number Nguyen will be wearing. Archie Thompson is going to wear number 27 on the back of his shirt. Thompson has also completed formalities today and is now officially a PSV player. PSV signed the Australian forward on loan from Melbourne until the end of the season, with the option to extend the contract further. After today’s training session the new PSV players kindly took part in an extensive photo shoot.
