Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink has recovered from his hamstring problem and has been called up for the squad that will meet FC Groningen tomorrow night for the Gatorade Cup quarter final tie.The news was announced by PSV head coach Guus Hiddink after the Tuesday morning training session that had taken place in the Philips Stadium. As Vennegoor of Hesselink, who was ruled out of last Sunday afternoon’s clash against ADO Den Haag, will make a comeback, Gerald Sibon has been dropped from the squad. Hiddink told a few journalists that he expects a rough ride in the brand-new Euroborg stadium tomorrow night. "They are having a fine spell and undoubtedly want to continue their winning streak. It’s going to be a tough game in new surroundings, which is great. Cup football is always fascinating, as you can come a long way by just playing two or three games." PSV slipped to a narrow 1-0 league defeat away against FC Groningen earlier this season. "They did not threaten that much at the time, but scored a peach of a goal, so that we were suddenly one goal down. It is important we will dominate tomorrow night's game and also take our chances. We showed more stability under hard circumstances during last Sunday afternoon's game against ADO Den Haag. But we should try and play in more relaxed fashion."The cup tie will be kicked off at 20:45. There will be live coverage by a Dutch commercial broadcasting company. The squad for the cup tie against FC Groningen:Goalkeepers: Gomes, ZoetebierDefenders: Alex, Ball, Lamey, Ooijer, ReizigerMidfielders: Afellay, Aissati, Cocu, Culina, Lucius, Simons, VäyrynenForwards: Beasley, Farfán, Thompson and Vennegoor of Hesselink.
