PSV have moved to Newcastle upon Tyne, where they will continue their pre-season campaign. The squad travelled by coach to the town in the north east of the UK; the trip lasted three hours. Last night PSV drew 0-0 with Coca Cola Championship side Stoke City FC and Newcastle United welcome the Eindhoven outfit to St. James’ Park this Saturday in a pre-season friendly. PSV were originally to stay at Stoke-on-Trent for a few more days, but today the PSV technical staff decided to move to Newcastle. Saturday’s friendly will kick off at 16:00 pm local time. So PSV head coach Ronald Koeman will have some time to get his team into shape and work in peace and quiet. A training session is scheduled for this afternoon. Yesterday it was hot and sunny, but temperatures today in Newcastle are lower and the sky is overcast.
