The PSV first team squad again trains twice today. This morning the players were made to work very hard and another session at the Newcastle United training ground is scheduled for Friday afternoon. PSV head coach Ronald Koeman very specifically wanted to practise the passing game and there were many tough encounters during a practise game of football. The weather in Newcastle was again glorious and sunny, so the players took short breaks to drink water. The players will rest or be on the treatment table this afternoon and return to the training ground later this afternoon. PSV meet Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday at 16:00 local time for a pre-season friendly. Damien Duff, who joined the Magpies from Chelsea, is expected to make his black and white debut against PSV. Koeman intimated he may field some of the PSV players that appeared at the World Cup.Below you will find pictures taken during the morning training session.
