Phillip Cocu will be out of action the next few games. PSV’s captain is ruled out of contention by a torn thigh muscle and his injury is a major blow to head coach Ronald Koeman. Koeman did not reveal how long exactly Cocu would be out, but the UCL clash with Bordeaux, in ten days’ time, will come too early. "Time is running out fast”, said Koeman at the weekly media briefing at De Herdgang. "He has torn a muscle and we should be very cautious. Phillip usually recovers well from injuries, but it is doubtful whether he will be fit enough to start against Bordeaux. He will probably be match-fit again at the beginning of October, when some international fixtures are scheduled.”Patrick KluivertPatrick Kluivert is expected to be given playing time, when PSV take on Feyenoord on Sunday afternoon. "He has been training well and looks fit, so he should get some playing time by now. I would have brought him on against Liverpool if the situation had compelled us to intervene. The same goes for Sunday’s clash, when we may have to try and break open their compact defence, but Patrick will obviously make his debut soon.” Diego TardelliDiego Tardelli, the latest signing from Brazil, may also be fielded. "He is a versatile winger and can play on either flank and as a striker up front. I think he threatens most when he plays on the flanks. I don’t know yet whether he will be given playing time. He must first get accustomed to the way we play football, but he may very well be called up to the squad.”Goalkeeper Oscar Moens was absent at the Friday morning training session, as he had reported sick. If he is still ill on Sunday, the young Belgian keeper Ruud Boffin will stand-in for Gomes
