Da Costa partners Alex in the heart of defence and Koeman again starts with Jefferson Farfán and his strike partner Arouna Koné up front. Eric AddoDefender Eric Addo starts on the bench at the expense of Michael Lamey, who has been dropped from the squad. Timmy Simons, captain Phillip Cocu, Edison Mendez and Ibrahim Afellay play in midfield. The latter was called up to the provisional squad of the Dutch team for the friendly against England.
