Manuel Da Costa returns to the starting line-up when PSV take on Ajax in the Amsterdam ArenA. The 20-year-old defender missed the last two games because of an ankle injury.Da Costa’s fine performances have not gone unnoticed and Luis Felippe Scolari, coach of Portuguese national team, has called up Manuel Da Costa to the squad to meet Kazakhstan in Coimbra on 15 November in their next Euro 2008 qualifying game. Carlos Salcido will play left back, at the expense of Michael Reiziger, who starts on the bench. Ibrahim Afellay and Phillip Cocu are also given a place in PSV’s first-choice eleven against Ajax. Phillip Cocu has scored 49 goals for PSV in official games so far, so if he finds the net this afternoon, he will have taken his career tally to fifty goals.
