PSV coach Ronald Koeman has been forced to make some changes for this afternoon’s clash with Excelsior to the team that booked a place in the UEFA Champions League quarter final last Wednesday, as Arouna Koné, Jan Kromkamp and goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes are sidelined with injuries. John de Jong has been called up to the squad again, after a lengthy lay-off. The midfielder, who celebrated his 30th birthday last Thursday, starts on the bench in Rotterdam. Goalkeeper Oscar Moens will deputize for Gomes, with third-choice stopper Ruud Boffin starting on the bench. Jefferson Farfán, as lone striker up front, will be supported in attack by the Chinese Xiang Sun and Jason Culina. Csaba Fehér, who put in a convincing display against Arsenal, plays at right back again. The Excelsior v PSV Eredivisie game at Woudestein kicks off at 2.30 pm. <u.PSV starting line-up:</u> Moens, Fehér, Alex, Salcido, Alcides, Simons, Cocu, Culina, Xiang Sun, Afellay and Farfán.
