<L CODE="C01">Manuel da Costa</L> is ruled out of PSV’s final league game of the season with a knee injury. <L CODE="C02">Eduardo Alcides</L> was on the training pitch on Friday morning, but did not look fit. He is doubtful for Sunday afternoon’s clash with Vitesse and will face a fitness test tomorrow.
PSV will also be without <L CODE="C03">Csaba Fehér</L> and <L CODE="C04">Michael Reiziger</L>. Although PSV are dependent on the results of other teams after they dropped two costly points in their 1-1 draw with FC Utrecht last Sunday, Koeman knows anything is possible in football. “I have celebrated winning the title on the last match day three times and I still believe it is still possible we will clinch the title. We will go for it and hope to take all three points and score a lot of goals”, said the PSV head coach at De Herdgang on Friday afternoon. “We want to retain the title and during the past few games we have shown we are on the right track. The players have been training well lately.” The PSV head coach knows that the home crowd may direct catcalls and whistles at him to show their disapproval on Sunday afternoon. “I have heard those stories and I have been reading the internet forums. I just hope it won’t distract the players.”
