PSV has reached an agreement with goalie Bas Roorda (PSV.nl)

PSV MEDIA - PSV has reached an agreement with 34-year-old goalkeeper Bas Roorda on a free transfer from FC Groningen. The goalkeeper, who was born in Assen, will undergo a medical soon and put pen to paper on a two-year-deal shortly. Roorda started his career as a professional player at FC Groningen in 1992.
Oscar Moens Roorda had also spells with N.E.C. and Roda JC between 1996 and 2004, before he returned to FC Groningen. PSV intend to complete a deal with Roorda, as 34-year-old current deputy stopper Oscar Moens has indictated he will walk away from the game this summer and retire.. Moens, who has won two caps for his country, joined PSV from Willem II last summer, clinching the Dutch title in hist first year in Eindhoven. The Brazilian Heurelho da Silva Gomes is obviously first-choice goalkeeper at PSV next season as well.
