The KNVB Cup first and second round draw took place in Zeist on Thursday afternoon. PSV, who have been granted automatic qualification to the second round, have been paired with Young sc Heerenveen. The cup tie is scheduled for 25, 26 or 27 September in Heerenveen.
FC Zwolle player Jordy Zuidam conducted Thursday afternoon’s draw. PSV beat Kozakken Boys (2-0), Vitesse (4-0) and Go Ahead Eagles (3-2) in last season’s Dutch Cup campaign, but NAC Breda eliminated the Eindhoven outfit in the quarter-finals, following a 3-0 win at the Rat Verlegh Stadium in Breda.
