Guus Hiddink was an interested spectator of the AC Milan-PSV tie, the opening game of the Russian Railways Cup at the Lokomotiv Moscow Stadium on Friday night. He talked extensively with, among other people, PSV General Manager Jan Reker, scout Piet de Visser and PSV Football Director Stan Valckx. Hiddink had enjoyed seeing PSV in action once again.

Hiddink commutes between Holland and Russia, and intends to guide the Russians to qualification for the Euro 2008. The former PSV manager spends most time in Moscow and Sint-Petersburg. “I usually stay here for two weekends in a row, before I return to Holland. Sometimes, though, I stay here a bit longer. I actually spend much time in Russia, more than in Holland anyway”, explained Hiddink, who had a long chat with Piet de Visser. Hiddink referred to the tournament's opening game as “a pre-friendly season with nothing much at stake”, but he added he had enjoyed watching a PSV game once again.
