On Day Four of their trip to Moscow, PSV focus on the Russian Railways Cup final. The Dutch reigning champions will meet Spanish champions Real Madrid in the final of the prestigious tournament, which kicks off at 18.30 Dutch time. The squad trained lightly this morning, in the same way they prepared for last Friday's opening game against AC Milan.
A PSV delegation, including, among other persons, head coach Ronald Koeman, General Manager Jan Reker and Football Director Stan Valckx, attended an official dinner party at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Hotel last night. This morning the players were on the training pitch to prepare for tonight's final against Real Madrid. Police cars will escort the bus to the Lokomotiv Stadium, which accommodates 20, 000 people. Today, 'the day of the Russian railways labourer' is a holiday in Russia to commemorate the 170th anniversary of the Russian Railways.
Prior to the Real Madrid-PSV clash, Lokomotiv take on AC Milan to decide which team will finish third.
