PSV head coach Ronald Koeman has some selection worries ahead of Sunday afternoon's clash with Feyenoord, and will not take any decisions until after tomorrow's training session. Otman Bakkal will face a late fitness test before the coaching staff make a decision on whether he plays against Feyenoord and Ronald Koeman must also decide if Farfán is ready to start and which player will deputize for Afellay, who is out for several weeks with a broken toe.

Bakkal is recovering well from a knee injury, but is a doubt for Sunday. “He is making progress, but trained separately from the group this morning. We will not take a decision until after tomorrow's training session. He may be called up to the squad, provided he will join the squad for full training tomorrow. Otherwise he will be withdrawn from the squad, but I must admit I am not optimistic”, told Koeman media representatives during the weekly press briefing at De Herdgang sports centre.
Koeman praised Kenneth Perez for the part he played in PSV's 2-1 win over CSKA Moscow on Wednesday. “He is a versatile player, who can operate as a central midfielder or at the flanks. He particularly adds value to the team in a free role. I am delighted with his fine performance, as it has boosted his self confidence.”
Perez is a likely candidate to replace Afellay, but Ismail Aissati or Bakkal may also fill in at midfield. “Wee are rocked by the injury that Afellay has sustained, but this is part of the job. Other players will now have be given an opportunity to show their skills. It's too bad he will be out for several weeks, but it's all part of the game.”

Koeman did not dwell too long on Feyenoord. “Our game plan will not be the same as on Wednesday. We will attempt to put early pressure on them. Anyone can see that Feyenoord field a far better team than last season and they are in contention for winning the title. They do not play European football, which may an advantage, as they will now be able to thoroughly prepare their weekend matches. I am sure it will be an interesting match.”
Koeman will not make the decision to play either Farfán or Koevermans or both to until Saturday. “The coaching staff will have some lengthy discussions before we make our final choices. If Farfán thinks he is fit enough to start, he will be included in the starting eleven.”
Koeman said he had enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere at the Friday morning training session “We had divided the players into two groups and they played a fine game of foot volley,”
