PSV are back on Dutch soil. The team flew back from Sabiha Gökcen International Airport in Istanbul to Eindhoven this morning, after they suffered a 2-0 defeat against Fenerbahçe on Wednesday night. . PSV will now turn their attention to Sunday's clash with AZ at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven.

Behind the scenes hard work is being done to appoint a new coaching staff. General Manager Jan Reker has already implied that the club intends to unveil a new head coach at the beginning of next week. Since Ronald Koeman and Tonny Bruins Slot left PSV to take over at Valencia, several coaches are being linked with PSV, but Reker remains tight-lipped.
The squad meanwhile focuses on the encounter with AZ at the Philips Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with a 14:30 kick-off and hopes to bounce back to winning ways, after they slipped to defeat against sc Heerenveen and Fenerbahçe. Sunday is set to be a Super Sunday with the Feyenoord-Ajax fixture scheduled alongside with the PSV-AZ clash.

The players have been given the day off and will report for training at De Herdgang training centre on Friday and Saturday. Ibrahim Afellay and Jason Culina, who have stepped up their rehabilitation programme, will face fitness tests to see if they are recovering well from their respective toe and knee injuries.
