The PSV first team squad will train at the Philips Stadium on Thursday morning. The past few days the players trained in the woodland surroundings of De Herdgang and on the artificial pitch, as the grass pitches, badly affected by the frost, are currently unplayable.
PSV co-operate with the Dutch company SGL (Stadium Grow Lighting) in order to improve and secure the quality of the pitch in the Philips Stadium. The quality of the Philips Stadium pitch is excellent, even during wintertime, thanks to the installations with a special artificial light-and unique growth concept, so the technical staff often moves to the Philips Stadium on wintry days. PSV play hosts to FC Utrecht on Saturday.
