PSV hand a start to Danny Koevermans against NAC Breda at the Philips Stadium this afternoon, kicking off at 14:30, as they look to bounce back from De Euroborg debacle. PSV's leading goal scorer starts at the expense of Jefferson Farfán, who drops to the bench. Mike Zonneveld, who is suffering from a back problem, is not available; Slobodan Rajkovic deputises at left back. Goalkeeper Cássio Ramos provides cover on the bench for first-choice stopper Gomes.
Jan Wouters, who takes charge for the last time as caretaker coach, has made some changes to the side that lost at FC Groningen. Kenneth Perez retains his place just behind strike partners Koevermans/Lazovic up front. Salcido again partners Addo at the centre of defence, while Rajkovic and Alcides operate as left and right back respectively. Young forward Jonathan starts on the bench, along with Manuel da Costa. After this afternoon's game, the players have a week off and report for duty at De Herdgang training centre again on Monday 7 January, with new coach Sef Vergoossen at the helm.
Starting line PSV:
Gomes, Alcides, Rajkovic, Addo, Salcido, Simons, Culina, Afellay, Perez, Lazovic and Koevermans.
Substitutes: Cássio Ramos, Da Costa, Aissati, Farfán, Jonathan, Marcellis and Bakkal
