Vergoossen takes charge at PSV for the first time at Saturday's away top of the table match with Feyenoord. Balázs Dzsudzsák makes his PSV debut, seeking to support strike partners Farfán and Lazovic. Right back Jan Kromkamp makes a return to action, after he has recovered completely from his knee injury. Koevermans and Zonneveld start on the bench.
The new caretaker coach has made quite a few changes to the starting line-up, with Edison Méndez and Jason Culina also dropping to the bench. Dirk Marcellis partners Carlos Salcido at the heart of defence, with Otman Bakkal restored to the starting line-up in midfield. Vergoosen has selected Lazovic and Farfán as strikers up front, so there in no place in the starting eleven for top scorer Koevermans, who may be brought on as a substitute. PSV are on top of the table, with 36 points after 17 games. Runners-up Feyenoord have the same number of points, but PSV enjoy a better goal difference. PSV claimed an emphatic 4-0 victory against Feyenoord in this season's reverse encounter at the Philips Stadium.
