Ghana will face Cameroon in Thursday's semi-final of the African Cup of Nations after the Lions knocked out Tunisia 3-2 after extra time in a fascinating game. Mbia, who had already opened the scoring with a header in the first half, netted the winning goal in the 92nd minute.

When Newcastle United midfielder Geremi had doubled Cameroon's lead after 28 minutes with a sweetly struck free kick from 30 yards, Cameroon seemed to be cruising to victory, but Tunisia staged a remarkable comeback. Ben Saada reduced the deficit ten minutes from the break with a superbly struck free lick and Chikhaoui leveled the score nine minutes from time. Cameroon progressed to the semi-finals, when Stephabe Mbia scored an extra-time goal.
Holders Egypt earned a place in the semi-finals after they beat Angola 2-1 on Monday night. Ghana will host Cameroon in the semi-final in Accra on Thursday night, with an 18:00 kick off, while Ivory Coast meet Egypt in Kumasi at 21:30.
