The title race in Holland is wide open as Meeuwis scored a dramatic last-minute equaliser to earn Roda JC a 1-1 draw at home to PSV. Farfán opened the scoring for PSV after 67 minutes, netting PSV's 4000th Eredivisie goal. Just when the defending champions thought they had bagged all three points, Meeuwis snatched an equaliser in stoppage time to gain his side a share of the points and PSV saw their lead over second-placed Ajax cut to four points.
After having collected wins away De Graafschap, Feyenoord, Willem II and, in European competitions, against CSKA Moscow and Tottenham Hotspur, PSV again seemed to have taken all points, when the ball was not cleared well from a corner on a waterlogged pitch and Meeuwis blasted home from close range at the death. Two seconds later, referee Luinge blew the final whistle, and PSV were left with feelings of disappointment and frustration having dropped two precious points, ahead of Wednesday's top-of-the-table clash with runners up Ajax.

Lazovic was restored to the starting line-up in attack. Farfán partnered him up front with the left-sided Dzsudzsák seeking to support him. Danny Koevermans was granted leave of absence due to personal reasons. PSV knew they were in for a hard time against Roda JC, who liked to play physical football on the rain affected pitch of the Parkstad Limburg Stadium. Their die-hard defenders were working tirelessly and committed several fouls. Striker Yulu Matondo pushed away Salcido before he placed a header straight at PSV keeper Gomes. At the other end, the ball fell to Marcellis from a corner and the centre back brought out a fine save from Roda JC stopper Castro. Lazovic came close to scoring the opening goal after fifteen minutes, but the Serbian striker just failed to connect with an Afellay cross. Five minutes from half time, Afellay was unlucky not to score after a great solo run and shot on target that was blocked by a defender.
Afellay delivered a powerful shot before Bakkal came on to replace Lazovic after 58 minutes. The deadlock was finally broken in the 67th minute. De Jong's sloppy pass to Saeijs was intercepted by Jefferson Farfán. The Peruvian rounded Saeijs before slotting home a low shot leaving Castro with no chance. It was a landmark goal, as Farfán netted PSV's 4000th Eredivisie goal. Minutes before Gomes had kept his team in the game by pulling off a super save from Bodor. The hosts moved men forward, leaving space at the back and Afellay as well as Farfán started counter attacks. Mendez, who was celebrating his 29th birthday today, left the bench after 82 minutes to take over from Dzsudzsák in a bid to take all three points. PSV survived two scares during the frantic closing stages, but conceded a very late goal after all. It's up to PSV to increase their four-point lead when they cross horns with Ajax on Wednesday.
