Quite a few PSV fans had come to De Herdgang training complex on Tuesday morning to see the squad train. The players trained hard, starting preparations for the last match of the regular season, away against Vitesse in Arnhem on Sunday. They will have the Thursday off, before they report back for training on Friday.
Ibrahim Afellay hopes to be available for Sunday. He trained separately, under the supervision of fitness coach Luc van Agt, but is set to join his colleagues for full training on Friday. Ismail Aissati and Otman Bakkal meanwhile joined the squad for full training. They were doubtful for Sunday's clash with FC Twente. Bakkal passed a late fitness, but started on the bench. He was brought on a few minutes from time. The PSV squad will report back for a behind-closed doors training session on Friday morning.
