PSV head to Palma de Mallorca (PSV.nl)

At about 2.45pm on Wednesday afternoon, PSV jetted off to Spain where they will wind up their pre-season programme with a friendly against Real Mallorca on Thursday. The team will stay in Palma de Mallorca, the most important town and capital city of the Baleares islands.
Ono Estadi
Thursday's friendly will take place at the Ono Estadi in Palma de Mallorca, with a capacity of 23, 000, after the Real Mallorca first team squad has been presented to the press at 9pm. The hosts will then take on PSV to contest the 34th Trofeo Ciudad de Palma, an impressive Cup that will be presented to the winner of the annual pre-season friendly. PSV will meet Real Mallorca in a pre-season friendly at the Ono Estadi in Palma de Mallorca on Thursday night.

Real Mallorca finished seventh in the Spanish league last season, but their striker Daniel Güiza made a move to Fenerbahçe. He was the leading scorer in Spain in the 2007/08 season and followed former Spain coach Aragones, who has been appointed as the new manager head coach of the Turkish top club. Samuel Eto'o, Diego Tristán and former PSV forward Arnold Bruggink all once plied their trade Real Mallorca. PSV will fly back home on Friday morning. After meeting Sporting Lisbon, Newcastle United and Everton before in the pre-season campaign, PSV will now face their fourth genuine test, when they take on Real Mallorca. PSV Media will join the squad for the trip to Spain and PSV.nl as well as PSV TV Online will cover all events.
