The PSV senior squad trained on the pitch of the Philips Stadium on Monday morning, ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Champions league game with Atlético Madrid. Media representatives were welcome to see the players in action during the first and final fifteen minutes of the session.
Twenty-man squad
Huub Stevens has called up a twenty-man squad. Nordin Amrabat, who missed the Sparta Rotterdam game through suspension, and Edison Méndez, who had returned late from international duty, are available again for PSV's UCL opening game. Bas Roorda (thumb) and Jan Kromkamp (knee) have not recovered from their injuries and are consequently ruled out for Tuesday night's game. PSV head coach Huub Stevens, along with Timmy Simons, will conduct the customary pre-match press conference at 12.45pm. Atlético Madrid will have their press briefing at 6.30pm after which they will train in the Philips Stadium.
