Dirk Marcellis dropped from squad
Defender Dirk Marcellis, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, has been dropped from the squad and stays in Eindhoven where he intends to step up his rehabilitation programme. PSV coach Huub Stevens has called up an eighteen-man squad for tomorrow night's game at the Vicente Calderon Stadium. Hundreds of PSV fans will also travel to Madrid, but will not be allowed access to the stadium. Atlético Madrid will have to play their Champions League home match against PSV behind closed doors, following crowd incidents during their Champions League home match against Marseille on October 1. Huub Stevens will hold a press conference at the Vicente Calderon at 6pm, after which he will take charge of a training session in the stadium that starts at approximately 6.30pm.
The squad that makes the trip to Madrid:
Isaksson, Cássio Ramos; Addo, Bréchet, Maza, Pieters, Salcido, Zonneveld; Afellay, Bakkal, Culina, Méndez, Simons, Wuytens; Dzsudzsák, Lazovic, Koevermans and Nijland.
