Carlos Salcido is ruled out of Sunday's game with Feyenoord at the Philips Stadium, with a 14: 30 kick off. The Mexican is having trouble with a groin problem that he picked up during a training session on Tuesday. Another player who may be missing the game is Edison Méndez, who is doubtful with a hip problem.
Edison Méndez
Stevens told media representatives at the weekly press briefing at De Herdgang that Salcido is definitely out for Sunday and added that Edison Méndez is doubtful with a hip problem. The Ecuadorian midfielder picked up a knock during the Friday morning training session and will face a fitness test on Saturday. Other than that, Stevens has virtually a full-strength squad to choose from, although some players are not match-fit yet. One of them is Jan Kromkamp who needs more match practise before he will make a return to the first team. Reimond Manco is still in his native country Peru for private and personal reasons.
Cássio Ramos
Stevens is feeling confident ahead Sunday's clash with Feyenoord at the Philips Stadium, with a 14: 30 kick off. 'We are anxious to take all three points. PSV and Feyenoord have fought out many close gamest at the Philips Stadium before.' Stevens was asked whether he would consider sending out keeper Cássio Ramos on loan. 'We might, but obviously only when another clubs shows an interest. Cássio is making good progress and is developing his skills well. He demonstrates a high level of work ethic at all training sessions and is visibly enjoying himself.' Bas Roorda has recovered from injury woe and is fit enough to be called up to the squad to face Feyenoord. 'He also loves life at the Philips Stadium and is happy to make a return between the posts.'
