Although the training pitches at the De Herdgang training ground had been cleared of snow, it was decided to have the Friday training session on the artificial pitch. PSV prepare in peace and quiet for the league clash against sc Heerenveen in the Abe Lenstra stadium on Sunday afternoon. PSV coach Guus Hiddink has a fully fit squad at his disposal. The Brazilian players Alex and Gomes stayed inside, though, and Robert is in Brazil at the moment to round off a few formalities. One more training session is scheduled at the De Herdgang training ground on Saturday afternoon. Then Alex, who is recovering from an ankle injury, will face a late fitness test to find out whether he is available for the game. PSV doctor Van den Hoogenband has diagnosed a severe bruise on his right ankle.
