PSV Chairman Rob Westerhof made a brief speech on Tuesday afternoon to an audience of business relations and representatives of the press that had travelled to Monaco. He did so during an extensive lunch buffet in Hotel Marriott Riviera La Porte de Monaco. Westerhof raised various topics in Brasserie la Cap. The PSV Chairman told the supporters who had made the trip to Monaco about the possible starting line-up, the tactical attacking options coach Guus Hiddink may have, the chances of reaching the UEFA Champions League quarter finals and the financial interests that are at stake."We must show Holland and Europe who we are. United we stand", concluded the chairman his speech. His predecessor Harry van Raaij was one of the attentive listeners, just like Mrs van Raaij, many sponsors and members of the PSV Business Club, PSV Director Rob Ribbers and some journalists. Hotel Marriott Riviera La Porte de Monaco is situated close to the Stade Luis II, the AS Monaco stadium. The brasserie is near a beautiful marina. Although the sun is shining and the sky is blue, it is quite chilly in the principality. However, it is lovely to roam the streets. Later on the day Guus Hiddink will organize a press conference in the Stade Luis II of AS Monaco, where the squad will also have the customary pre-match training session.
